Ran this in my stream last night, was a success. Had run the movie Message from Space Sunday and loved it. Thanks for subbing this.

Its always fascinating seeing how the Japanese interpret things, or just seeing things interpreted by other countries and cultures, seeing something inherently American become utterly transformed. Like when the Japanese did their version of Transformers with 'Headmasters' 'Masterforce' and 'Victory'. so I'm curious to see how the Japanese do their own Star Wars. :)

FYI, Transformers, long time a go, was definetely from japan
with the very first title "Tatakae! Chō Robotto Seimeitai Toransufōmā" / "Fight! Super Robot Life Form Transformer"

Optimus Prime/Convoy, with some other Diaclone, was designed by ShĂ´ji Kawamori, the famous Macross mecha-designer

I sorta knew that, but not really. I only knew of certain things regarding Transformers in Japan, like the fact that Optimus was called Convoy, but that was it really.

Still, Transformers seemed very much an American concept, even if shows like Transformers, Masters of the Universe and GI Joe followed a similar methodology from the Japanese of creating a TV series to promote a line of toys and other merchandise.

Just like Johnny has mentioned we are missing an important member for this project.

We want to see this project to the end too but certain cirumstances is hindering it.

The problem is this member seems to have left fansub world (which drives another fansub team to close soon).

Does anyone happen to have a copy of episode one available? The torrent seems to be dead currently.

Hey, just registered up to thank you for putting this together. I watched these three episodes last weekend with some friends, and they were an absolute joy.

Managed to track down the movie version on Cinemageddon, but tragically, it doesn't have Japanese Chewie. Should be a fun watch regardless!
